Send the walkthrough link

One link plays this job's videos in order with your approved summaries under them, then the library videos that match. It stays open for ninety days.

What you need first

  • At least one video on the project, added through Add video
  • An approved summary, if you want one printed under the video

The walkthrough link is how the client watches the drawings without a meeting. By the end of this page you will have copied it, seen the page they open, and know what is and is not on it.

Click Copy and send it yourself

Paste it into an email or a text with the summary you copied from the card. The link is good for ninety days, which is long enough to cover a build, and it carries no password because clients are not users here.

Look at the page they open

Your shop's name, their first name, and a line saying these videos are about their project, to watch first and then say what they would like changed. Nothing is final yet, and the page says so.

The top of the walkthrough page a client opens: the shop's name, the client's own greeting, the note that nothing is final yet, and the first video
  1. 1The client's own greeting, on your letterhead
  2. 2The invitation to reply before anything is final
  3. 3The video's own title, straight off Loom

Nothing plays until they tap it, and the poster is the product's own rather than a still, because the demo recording behind this picture belongs to somebody else.

Know what this page is not

It is a pre-sale and design page. There is no build progress on it, no photo feed and no week-three update, because that is your photo portal's job and Casework does not duplicate it. Nothing moves between the two.

What happens next

The related videos on that page came from the shared library. The last guide in this section is how a clip gets in there and which projects it attaches to.
