Enter feet with the sticky Save
Type the runs on site with a tape in your other hand. The Save bar follows the page down, so the press is always under your thumb.
What you need first
- A project on your phone
- A tape measure, or the client's own numbers
The specification is what the estimate is priced from, and on a site visit you are typing it one-handed. By the end of this page the runs will be on the job and saved.
Open the job and tap Specs
The card is headed Specification with the line "What the estimate is priced from." Above the fields, the room and how it was measured: client measured, from photos, or a site visit.
Type the three runs in feet
Leave what you do not know blank
A blank field is a blank field. Nothing is filled in for you, and the estimate prices what is there rather than guessing at what is not.
Watch the Save bar arrive
It appears once the form is dirty and the in-flow Save has scrolled off, and it sits above the phone's tab bar rather than behind it. On a site visit the press is always in reach and you never scroll back up to find it.
Fill in the finishes while you are in there
Below the runs: build, floor, interior, species, door style and hardware. These are what the care manual assembles from later and what the video library matches its clips on, so the five minutes here pay twice.
Expect it to lock after signing
Once a job is moved to Signed the fields stop being editable and the card says "Locked after signing." The spec is then the record of what was agreed rather than a working draft.
What happens next
